Our minimum charge is $25 to go to your location and $25 an hour. Ninety percent of our customers bring their computers to us, just for the fact that they save over 50% by doing so. Since 80% of the repair market is virus or adware related, the scans required to fix these issues can take from 2 to sometimes 24 hours. Bringing the computer in will save you a lot of money. We are aware that in some cases you may not be able to bring in a desktop or if you have a printing or network issue ect., we will need to go on site and will be glad to come out.
The average repair issues range from $40 to $80. This is usually virus or hard drive issues.

We will work on you pc on weekends at our location, and will go on site on weekend in an emergency.

Today, a majority of repairs are due to virus's & adware. Most of the labor time is spent on scans and software upgrades. These can take as long as 2 hours a piece. All together, this can take 8 to 15 hours. In my opinion, it is much more cost effective for a customer to bring the computer to me. If I have to sit at a location for 10 or more hours at $25.00 and hour, it does not make economic sense. I will come to your location and will cap the price if it takes more than 8 hours, at $250.00. Normal cost range for a virus or Malware removal is betweeen $40 - $80 at my location.
General Pricing
Adware or Vieus Removal Only - $40 to $60
Adware, Virus Removal and Windows and Software Updates - $50 to $75
Re-formatting, new OS install, all updates, Virus Software and Plug-ins $100 to $120
Basic one page web site - $200 to $300 (add $100 for additonal pages)
One page Web site design and domain setup - $300 to $350 (add $100 for additonal pages)
Data recovery - $25 to $50

Data Recovery
With Data Recovery, there are to types of issues. Your computer will not boot and you can not get to your data, or you computer won't boot and the hard drive will not spin up.
If you can not access your data and the hard drive is still functional, we can retrieve all the good data still on the drive and copy it off to later be put on a new drive or reformat the old drive. If the drive is physically dead and will not spin up, we do not have the tools to take the platter's out and try and retrieve the data. Companies that do perform this recovery will charge anywhere from $1000 to $2000. So you have to decide weather the data is worth it or not.
I have had the opportunity in the last few months to work on some new computer units. Several were the new HP Pavilion Desktop's. I have to say that I was impressed with the progress HP has made lately. They range anywhere from $399 to $899 depending on processor and extras.
I have been a Dell person for the last 15 years and I just bought a new desktop to replace my current one of 4 years. I purchased a Dell XPS 8300 desktop only to find out that some new from the factory come with a problem of locking up at random and often. Although mine was not brand new from Dell, it is in extremely good condition. But it locks up every 4 or 5 hours. That is ridiculous! Why they would even release it to the market is over my head. On the laptop front, there are a lot of good deals out there. A family member bought a new Toshiba laptop with a price of a little over $300. Hp, Dell and Toshiba all have good products at good prices on desktop's and laptops. With the economy floundering, prices are down and will be for a while.

"We is me". I have been doing PC, network, Server support for the last 18 years. I have been doing web design for almost as long. I work alone. I can offer lower prices than other companies becasue I have no overhead. I work from my home, so I do not have to pay rent for a building and all that comes with it. Sometimes I have laptops for sale if I come accross good pricing. I hand pick Laptops to sell to my customers, getting them at under market prices. I have no employees to pay. All the savings I pass on to you, my customers.
I offer a wide range of knowledge of computers, WIndows Operating systems and networking. If you need a part, it can be obtained. If you need a new laptop, I may have one to meet your needs.
Most of my work of late has been virus or adware related problems or designing Web Sites. Most simple adware or virus issues can be removed for under $75.00. But, if these infections can become so embedded into you operating system, it becomes only cost effective to format your hard drive and start new.
Important!
If you bring me a machine that is only worth about $100 or $150 and I find that it is so infrected that it will need to be reformatted, you may decide that instead of paying $80 to $100 to fix the old one, you want to just buy a new one. I can tell within a hour if it is going to be cost effective to fix the old one.
The minimum assess acomputer is $25.00. In most cases, if a computer is less than 3 years old, it is definitely worth reformatting it and reloading Windows. It will be just like new.
If, it is necessary to reformat your computer and reinstall Windows, this is what will happen. I can copy all you important data such as pictures, music and documents to a secure location. Then reformat your HD and reinstall Windows. Then copy you data back to the appropriate locations. This complete procedure will cost from $80.00 to $120 depending on the PC and amount of data. Also you will need to provide the operating system COA (Windows). Most computers have this sticker on them. If the COA sticker is gone, then a new license may need to be purchased.
From this point you have a new operating system. Since we do not have your email acoount information and other software key codes that you may had loaded previously, we will not be able to configure these. If you wish to provide this information and software, we will be glad to load and configure it all for you. This is normally and extra $30 to $50 depending on the amount of software installed. If you upgrade from Windows Xp to Windows 7, keep in mind that your old programs may not be compatible with Windows 7.
